Halloween is 'Tomb' time
Our October story is 'Goodnight Tomb'
320 Sycamore Studios believes that reading with kids can change the world for the better. Each month we share original stories … and our love of reading.
Soooo, aside from a certain 4-year-old, “Goodnight Tomb” is definitely for older children.
Indeed, “Brian B.” wrote an Amazon review titled “Inappropriate for children!! DO NOT BUY for kids!”
Sigh.
I think he only gave it a one-star review because you can’t give zero stars.
(Brian B., I’m sorry! If you ever read this, let me know how I can make it up to you.)
A page from Edward Gorey’s alphabet book, “Ghashlycrumb Tinies.”
Then again, if your child’s taste runs more toward “Ghashlycrumb Tinies,” they may love “Goodnight Tomb.”
One reviewer (“Mom of toddler with long curly hair”) gave it 5-stars, writing,
“Such a fun book for my four year old who loves Halloween all year long.”
Your mileage may vary, but whatever your take, what I really want to say is: Happy Halloween to you and yours.

Thanks for the illustrations, Rose. They still make me laugh.
